Google Wallet is beginning to widely roll out a big redesign of the app on Android that upgrades the passes experience.
The top portion of the app’s homepage is unchanged. However, everything underneath the credit and debit card carousel is brand new.
Passes no longer span the full width of your screen. Instead, you’ll see two per row, with cards featuring a themed background that better distinguishes each one.
Besides the ability to reorder (by holding down and dragging), you can now control which passes appear on the homepage.

Google Wallet has replaced the large ‘plus’ FAB (floating action button) in the bottom-right corner with a centered, split button variant. The plus at the right takes you to the same “Add to Wallet” screen as before.
“View more” opens a new page that first lets you “Search your Wallet” for transactions, payment methods, and loyalty cards in a huge finally. There are sections for Transactions and Passes, with recent ones shown.
Tapping “Manage passes on home” lets you star or remove what appears.
This Google Wallet redesign is appearing on several devices we checked today, but is still in the process of rolling out. Make sure you’ve updated to the latest versions of Google Wallet and Google Play services (stable 26.15.33).
